About the Performer

David Bennett Cohen has been professionally involved in music for more than 30 years. He is best known for his innovative keyboard playing style with "Country Joe and the Fish", a 60's rock band. David has played and/or recorded with such performers as Jimi Hendrix, and Huey Lewis, and has been billed alongside the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Jerry Garcia, and Meatloaf. You may have also heard him in the Hit Broadway show "Rent", where David performed piano and guitar. His teaching experience is also equally impressive, having created multiple piano and guitar teaching series on tape and DVD under Homespun Tapes. Let David's wealth of knowledge and experience guide you through learning Blues Piano!
