In this blog, we will learn how to play the whole tone scale<\/strong><\/span> in the key of C on the piano keyboard, starting by playing three white keys (C<\/strong>, D<\/strong>, E<\/strong><\/span>) and three black keys (F#<\/sup><\/strong>, G#<\/sup><\/strong>, A#<\/sup><\/strong><\/span>) on the keyboard. It is much fun and easier to remember how to play the whole tone scale in the key of C.

\nWe have learned in the piano basics section about the layout of the piano keyboard<\/a> which is made up of a pattern of five black piano keys and seven white piano keys throughout the piano keyboard.
